Aam panna is a hydrating desi hit which is not only refreshing but also energizing. The perfect merger of raw mangoes with cumin seeds and black salt helps you in battling scorching heat. Aam panna is consumed as a tasty and healthy beverage. The drink is popular in north India and is considered beneficial in the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders.

Ingredients

•    500 gm green mangoes

•    1/2 cup sugar

•    2 tsp salt

•    2 tsp black rock salt

•    1 tbsp cumin powder

•    2 Tbsp finely chopped mint leaves

•    2 cups water

Aam Panna Recipe: Step By Step

1. Boil the mangoes in a pressure cooker till they become soft inside, and the skin gets discolored.

2. Allow the mangoes to cool, then remove the skin and squeeze the pulp out of the mangoes.

3. Grind the pulp and add 2 cups of water to make a thick paste of it.

4. Now add 1/2 tsp cumin powder, 2 tsp black rock salt , 2 tsp salt and 1/2 cup sugar.

5. Mix well making sure everything is well combined and now Aam Panna is ready to serve.

6. Put it in a glass, pour some ice cubes and garnish it with mint leaves.
