How to make Delicious Cavatelli: Step by step
Cavatelli Step #1] Add semolina flour in a bowl for preparing the dough. Boil 1.25 cups of water and add it to the bowl.
Cavatelli Step #2] Wooden spoon can be used to mix the flour and water. Now the dough needs your hands for further preparation.
Cavatelli Step #3] Next, transfer the dough from bowl to a clean flat surface. Keep kneading the dough until it is smooth. Feel free to add one or more spoon of water if the dough feels dry.
Cavatelli Step #4] Once the dough is ready, keep it aside for about 30 minutes.
Cavatelli Step #5] Now portion the dough into 8 pieces. This will make rolling of the dough easy.

Cavatelli Step #6] Next, roll the dough pieces into thin and long rope of about 0.5 cm. Apply pressure in outward direction to give length to the roll.

Cavatelli Step #7] Now it is time to cut the dough roll into 2 cm pieces.

Cavatelli Step #8] Next, roll the pieces on a gnocchi board or use first two fingers (index and middle finger) to press down on each piece and roll it.

Cavatelli Step #9] Now add the Cavatelli pieces into the pot and boil it. The boiling may take 2-5 minutes.
The boiled Cavatelli can replace pasta in all recipes. It is generally cooked with broccoli.
