Sattu Drink Recipe
Sattu drink is one of desi favorite summer beverage served. This sweet delight is known to be originated from Bihar. It is popular across the country and is known for its cooling properties. Surprisingly it is served in many variations in states like Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh.
Sattu drink is basically made from sattu powder which is a tasty combination of roasted black chanas with bay leaves and roasted jeera. However, at some places white millet flour (jowar) and barley (jau ka atta) are also added. Sattu Drink is is full of nutrients, fiber and protein. Try it once and it will be your brilliant summer cooler.
Ingredients
· 1/4th cup Sattu Powder
· 4 cups Chilled water
· 2 tbsp Lemon juice
· ½ tbsp Roasted Cumin powder
· 2 tbsp chopped Mint leaves
· Black salt to taste
· 1 chopped Green chilli

Sattu Drink Recipe: Step By Step
1. Add all ingredients in a bowl and give a quick vigorous stir.

2. Serve in glass along with some ice cubes.

3. Garnish with chopped mint leaves.

Note– Sattu drink can either be served sweet by mixing it with sugar and chilled water.
