It is perfect to settle your evening cravings. Unlike cookies and other snacks which are famous in other parts of the world, Bhel Puri is a colorful and tasty Indian snacks version.

This is a mixture of yummy dry and wet ingredients that make you feel all satiated for hours. Bhel Puri is one of the most loved evening snacks served all over India. Be it for any occasion or a simple get together or evening hunger, Bhel Puri is fit for every type. It can be made in two ways: Dry and Wet. In dry Bhel Puri, chutneys are not added while in the wet version, chutneys are added and are mixed before serving. Bhel puri Ingredients

2 cups Puffed Rice / Murmura
2 tsp Green Chutney
3 tsp Tamarind Chutney
1/2 cup Finely Chopped Onion
1/2 cup Finely Chopped Tomato
1 tsp Finely Chopped Green Chilli
3 tbsp Chopped Fresh Coriander
1/2 cup Mashed Boiled Potato
3 crushed papdi
3 tbsp mixture
2 tbsp fried peanuts
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Chaat Masala
2 tbsp Lemon Juice
1/4 cup Sev

Street Style Bhelpuri Recipe: Step By Step

1. In a large bowl take 2 cups crisp murmura / Puffed rice. If the Puffed rice is not crisp dry roast them.

2. Then add 1/2 cup Finely Chopped Onion, 1/2 cup Mashed Boiled Potato, 3 crushed papdi, 3 tbsp mixture and 2 tbsp fried peanuts. Mix well.

3. To the above mixture also add 1/2 cup Finely Chopped Tomato , 1 tsp chaat masala, 1/2 tsp Red Chilli Powder and salt to taste.

4. Mix well, making all the spices to settle well.

5. Further if you want to make Dry Bhel puri, to the above mixture add 1 tsp lemon juice and serve by sprinkling sev and coriander leaves.

6. If you want Wet Bhelpuri add 3 tbsp tamarind chutney, 2 tbsp green chutney and 1 tsp lemon juice. Garnish with sev and coriander leaves.
